Ballroom Dance Shoe Suggestions:
We strongly recommend the use of ballroom dance shoes as they enhance the learning process.
For women we have found that wearing a 2 1/2″ heel is the most functional. For your first pair of shoes, and a practice pair of shoes, closed toed pumps are the most useful (and safest).
For men, you have two main options for shoe styles: split-sole jazz boots or ballroom shoes.
